E-Invoicing Workshop
Program Description
The 2 Day E-invoicing Workshop provides participants with a practical, compliance-focused learning experience on Malaysia’s e-invoicing requirements. The programme covers the fundamentals, regulatory framework, invoice lifecycle, data requirements, system submission methods, internal process alignment, accounting and tax implications, and internal controls.
What Will You Learn
At the end of the 2-Day Workshop, participants will be able to:
- Explain the legal and regulatory framework governing e-invoicing in Malaysia.
- Explain the e-invoice lifecycle, including issuance, validation, transmission, rejection and storage.
- Identify entities that are required to comply with e-invoice and entities that are exempted from e-invoicing.
- List out transactions that requires e-invoice to be issued and transactions that are exempted from e-invoicing.
- Determine the e-invoice implementation timelines.
- Address common financial and operational issues from both income and expenditure.
- Perspectives arising from e-invoicing.
- Explain common misconception of e-invoicing in Malaysia.
- Activate MyInvois Portal and manage the profiles within the MyInvois Portal and Prepare and validate e-invoice using MyInvois Portal.
