Sarawak Centre Of Performance Excellence
Official Documents Writing
Program Description
Writing remains one of the most essential forms of communication in the modern workplace. However, the widespread use of informal communication platforms such as email and text messaging has contributed to a decline in writing standards. Strong writing and communication skills continue to be valuable assets, particularly in preparing clear and professional documents such as meeting minutes, memos, and reports. These documents support effective decision-making across various functions, including operations, marketing, and strategic planning.
This 2-day workshop is designed to refresh and strengthen participants' report writing skills. It offers a practical overview of the most common business documents and aims to equip participants with the essential skills to write clearly, concisely, and effectively.
Participants will learn how to generate and organise ideas, structure their content, use appropriate language and tone, and incorporate visual aids where relevant. The workshop includes hands-on exercises, enabling participants to produce workplace documents and receive constructive feedback to enhance their writing skills.
